It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Albert Yanke (Wakeeney, Kansas), who passed away on August 9, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Yanke and Hannah Yanke (Kirschman); his former spouse Pat Smith; his spouse Karlynn Fabrizius; his sister Bonita McKisson; his grandson Christopher Kasparek; and his great grandchild Liam Kasparek.
He is survived by: his children, Basil Yanke (Dea) of Atchison, KS, Gretchen Hafliger (Fred) of WaKeeney, Alana Kasparek of Oskaloosa, KS, Alan Fabrizius (Laura) of Wilson, KS, Amy Wilson (Keith) of Riverton, KS and Ayn Wilson (Pat) of Wichita, KS; and his brothers, Clarence Yanke (Marilyn) of Sunray, TX and Vernon Yanke of Amarillo, TX. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
