She was predeceased by : her parents, Alexander J. "Alex" Windholz and Clara Windholz (Mermis); her husband John A. Brown; her son Darrell; her son-in-law Jack Smotherman; and her siblings, Evelyn Dreher, Amelda Bieker, Viola Weigel, Bertha Brown, Louis Windholz, Edward Windholz and Francis Windholz.
She is survived by : her daughters, Cheryl Smotherman of Hays, KS, Lois Abrams (Paul) of Nashville, TN and Angie Sherfick (Terry) of WaKeeney, KS; her grandchild Robin Banks (Scott) of Plano, TX; her children, Grady William (Tavia) of Hays, KS, Ryan Smotherman (Danielle), Michael Abrams of Berkeley, CA, Kate O'Bryant (Ian) of Nashville, TN, Justin Sherfick (Corey) of WaKeeney, KS, Travis Sherfick (Jessica) of WaKeeney, KS and Dylan Sherfick (Nicole) of WaKeeney, KS; and her sisters-in-law, Henrietta Windholz of Hays, KS and Rosie Guerico of Victoria, KS.. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
