It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clarence Charles Pfeifer (Wakeeney, Kansas), who passed away on June 25, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Clarence leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frank Pfeifer and Catherine Pfeifer (Dinkel); and his wife Thelma Zerr.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Schmitt Funeral Home - WaKeeney (336 N 12th St, WaKeeney, KS 67672). A rosary will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Christ the King Catholic Church (412 N 9th St, WaKeeney, KS 67672). A committal service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Kansas Veterans' Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ the King Catholic Church or for Mass Intentions, and sent to Schmitt Funeral Home, 336 N 12th St., WaKeeney, KS 67672.
