Don Dykema Obituary
It is with sadness that the passing of Don Dykema (Wakeeney, Kansas) is shared. Don, born on August 20, 1960, passed away on September 8, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Don will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Don by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Don is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Don’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his father Orville Dykema; and his grandparents, Abel, Wilmina Dykema, Ike and Ann Dornbush.
He is survived by: his mother Marlene Dykema (Dornbush); his partner Jody Stearley; and his siblings, Orville "Ort" Dykema, Jr. (Joy) of Strasburg, Cindy Ryckman (Merl) of Pollock and Rhonda Holzer (Troy) of Trail City. He is also survived by his cousins, nieces and nephews, and many close friends.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the WaKeeney City Cemetery.
