James Chandler Harries Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Chandler Harries (Wakeeney, Kansas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 8, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Myron Harries and Ruth Harries (Mary); his wife Roberta "Robie" Harries (Hetzel); his sister Kathy Gentert; his sons-in-law, Sam Viar and Donald Williams; and his great great grandchildren, Tran A. and Garrett James Richmeier.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy Marshall Viar of WaKeeney, Kansas, Wendy Marshall of WaKeeney, Kansas and Teressa Hafliger (Jonathan) of WaKeeney, Kansas; his brothers, David (Deb) of Wichita and John of WaKeeney; his grandchildren, Jennifer Dechant of WaKeeney, Amy Tonthat of Waco, Amerie Cavasos (Leo) of Highlands Ranch, Crystal Richard of Salina, Tiffany Richard of Colby, Gol Y of Charlotte, Sherry Hodgson (Shaun) of Perry and Tracy Hammond (Kris) of Burley, Idaho; his great grandchildren, Amy, Ngoc, Nyah, Mary, Laura, Kaitlyn, Madison, Dalton, Shaun, Trinity, Kris, Ariana and Rigston; and his great great grandchild Emma.
