He is survived by : his wife Martina Rohr; his son Tim Stanton (Melissa) of Ellis; his grandchildren, Logan and Jessie; his child Terry Stanton (Shelly) of Larned; his grandchildren, Kyle and Zachary; his son Troy Stanton (Chrissy) of Hays; his grandchildren, Sonya, Ethan, Madison and Connor; his daughter Tammy Hallagin (Trevor) of WaKeeney; his granddaughter Kristi Wood (Joe); his brother Francis Stanton of Denver, CO.; and also, Lily and Sophie Wood.

In lieu of flowers (if desired), memorial contributions are suggested to the Humane Society of the High Plains, Hays, KS or the American Legion.
