He was predeceased by: his wife Sandy Meyer; and his sister Patricia Decker. He is survived by: his daughter Lori Bond; his grandson Allan Bond; his sons, Mark and Greg; and his brother Larry Quinn.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Kansas Landscape Arboretum and can be sent in care of the funeral home.
