It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sherry Kent of Wakefield, Kansas, who passed away on March 19, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her mother Pauline Minks (Allison); her siblings-in-law, Raymond and Olga Kent; her brother David A. Minks; and her brother-in-law Stanley Kent.

She is survived by : her husband Wayne; her daughter Heather Hoover (Mike); her stepmother Emma Minks; her brother Ronald Minks; her granddaughter JaelAnn Hoover VarVais (Cody); and her siblings-in-law, Jim Kent (Mary Jane) and Pam Minks. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She enjoyed attending the Madura Congregational Church until Covid hit and then to protect her health, stayed home and faithfully watched the Greensburg Mennonite Church service every Sunday with her husband Wayne.

Memorials may be made to the Madura Congregational Church or River Valley District 4-H Clay County and left in care of the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home.
