James Dent Obituary

We bid farewell to James Dent of Walnut, Kansas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 28, 2026 at the age of 81. James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Jo (Reeves) and Joseph Dent; his granddaughter Citori Lynn Dent; and his son Dustin Reissig. He is survived by: his wife Natalie Reissig (Beard); his children, Rob Dent (Melinda), Julie Burd (Aaron), Lynn Carter, Kate Dent, Chris Dent (Amanda) and Tonya Wiles; his grandchildren, Justice, Turner, Sydney Dent, Nicholas Bradshaw (Hailee), Jack, Ella, Alec Burd (Tasha), Easton, Ava Dent, Carter and Aiden Wiles; his great grandchildren, Logan Bradshaw and Baylor Dent; and his siblings, Karen O'Brien (Lou), Jack Dent (Mary Jane), Joni Fields (Lynn) and Ted Dent (Reva).
