She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Kennedy and Thelma Kennedy; her husband Emil; her siblings, Nyla and Jay (Alice Gereau); and her brothers-in-law, Delbert Eichman, Jim Eichman and Lee Hunt.
She is survived by: her friend Sheila Heskett; her sister Ann Burkland (Harold Burkland) of Wamego; and her siblings-in-law, Mildred Eichman of Flush, Carol Ann Eichman of Wamego, Margaret Hunt of Colorado and Ed Gereau of Wamego. She is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Cemetery (8965 Flush Rd, St George, KS 66535). A rosary was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial for Carol Lynn Eichman has been established at the Kansas State University Foundation to support the Department of Interior Architecture and Industrial Design.
