She was predeceased by: her parents, Clemence Waskowiak and Mary Waskowiak (Polacek); her grandson Skyler Joseph Holthaus; and her siblings-in-law, James M. Rea and Catherine Thorsell.
She is survived by: her husband Galen E. Thorsell of Chanute, KS; her sisters, Arlene Rea (James M.) of Lincoln, NE, Linda Braun (Edward) of Cedar Rapids, NE and Carol Seamann (Dean) of Spalding, NE; her children, Regan Holthaus (Dustin) of Wamego, KS, Kristin Thorsell of Wamego, KS and Jon-Edward Thorsell of Washington, D. C; and her grandsons, Landon of Wamego, KS, Collin of Wamego, KS and Jordan Holthaus of Wamego, KS. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Bernard Catholic Church (17665 Old Post Rd, Wamego, KS 66547).
