He is survived by: his spouse Brett Stewart-Platt; his children, Autumn Platt-Cangelosi (Brandon) of Littleton, Colorado, Hendley Brook Carson (John) of Manhattan, Kansas, Michael Ames Howard II of Manhattan, Kansas and Piper Howard Deans (Jay) of Olathe, Kansas.; his grandchildren, Maddox Stockebrand, Rowan Stockebrand, Lawson Deans, Harlan Deans, Halsey Deans, Henley Deans, Sophie Cangelosi, Aliey Cangelosi and Izzy Cangelosi; and his pet Valkyrie.
