Joyce Glasson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce Glasson of Wamego, Kansas, who passed away on August 14, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Joyce farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Joyce is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Delta Esther Cordts and Julius John Lintz of Wamego; her adoptive father Alfred Emol Heiger of Manhattan; her husband Dennis Glasson Jr.; and her sister Yvonne Esther Winchester.
She is survived by: her daughter Dr. Jo D. Clepper (Frank); her granddaughters, Eire Colleen of North Carolina and Sophie Josette; and her sister Jeanette Ann Cantwell of Overland Park.
In lieu of flowers, Joyce requested that tributes be for Purple PAWS, supporting lost animals in need of love and a home.
