It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty A. Kastl in Washington, Kansas, born in Iola, Kansas, who passed away on March 4, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, K. H. Lalman and Bernita Lalman (Willis); her husband Don Kastl; and her siblings, Kenneth Lalman, Eloyse Stewart, Mardell Durnal and Shirley Foster.

She is survived by : her daughter Donna; her brothers, Jarry Lalman (Mary) and Bill Lalman (Glenda); her grandchildren, Thad Powell, Amanda Powell and Taylor Miller; and her great grandchildren, Peyton Powell, Taytum Miller and Kalen Miller. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

A memorial fund has been established to the Washington County School Endowment Fund.
