He was predeceased by: his brother-in-law Tom Ost. He is survived by: his parents, Dwayne Wilkens and Kaye Wilkens (Hood) of Linn; his children, Chelsea Canaday (Cade) of Wichita, Chase Wilkens of Junction City and Chandler Wilkens of Spring Hill, Florida; his grandchildren, Cooper, Cameron and Cali Canaday; his sister Lisa Ost-Beikmann of Washington; his nephew Nicholas Ost of Hilton Head; and his niece Samantha Ost of Charleston.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (210 Church St, Linn, KS 66953).
A memorial fund has been established and will be designated at a later date.
