He was predeceased by : his parents, Earl Oliver and Carrie Arbutus Jones (Parmentier); his siblings, Delbert Jones, Robert Jones, Melba Horton and Lois Stallard; his son-in-law Larry Hynek; and his granddaughter Michelle Hynek.
He is survived by : his wife Jan Jones; his children, Cindy Hynek, Karl Jones (Robin), Vicki Jones, Kurt Jones (Ange), Shawna Froglay (Kyle) and Greg Kaufman; and his siblings, Ken Jones (Alice) and Leona Nelson. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
