He was predeceased by: his parents, George S. Slaughter and Elizabeth Slaughter (Grable); his children, Ralph Slaughter, Deanna Perkins and Cheryl Brown; his son-in-law Kevin Boatright; his granddaughter April Higgins; and his siblings, Georgia Mae Schiltz, Ruth Walker and Jack Slaughter.
He is survived by: his children, Brian Slaughter (Sherry), Barbara Black (Michael), Wanda Boatright, George Slaughter (Debbie Polcino) and Georgia Mundinger (Jeff). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Harman-Rohde Funeral Home (310 Fremont St, Wathena, KS 66090). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
