She is survived by: her children, Pam Boyd (Rick) of St. Joseph, Paula Bahr (Larry) of St. Joseph, Kevin Vertin (Lori), Karla Root of Wathena, Alan Vertin (Trudy) of Platte City, Rich Vertin (Linda) of Troy and Brent Vertin (Brenda) of Westminster; and her grandchildren, Nicholas Boyd, Ben Coursen (Amanda), Damian Bahr (Courtney), Shanin Frazee (Brandon), Eric Bahr (Bridget), Michelle Ide (Scott), Christie Barron (Skyler), Sandy Koehler (Christopher), Kalee Feek, Karlee Vertin, Brian Gaul (Alicja), Brett Gaul (Megan), Alexa Vertin and Kyle Vertin. She is also survived by 5 step grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 9:00 AM and from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM. A rosary was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (104 S 7th St, Wathena, KS 66090). A Mass was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church youth group.
