We are sad to announce that, on May 22, 2026, at the age of 85, Janice Doreen Thomas (Waverly, Kansas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold D. Horne and Hattie Leona Horne (Mietchen); her husband Louis Thomas; and her brothers, Gary Horne, Robert "Bob" Horne and Gene Horne.
She is survived by: her close friend Art Allan; her sons, Monty Thomas (Donna) and Michael Thomas (Terri); her grandchildren, Kim Barhardt (Zach), Ashton Harred (Zack) and Alexa Caceres (Marc); her great grandchildren, Lukas Harred, Harper Harred, Emerson Caceres and Zhuri Caceres; and her sister Terri McFadden.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Olathe Hospice House, 15310 S. Marion Street, Olathe, Kansas 66061.
