We are sad to announce that on September 28, 2025, at the age of 82, Lydian Crooks of Waverly, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Owen and Estella Owen; and her brothers, John, Jim and Tom Owen.
She is survived by: her children, Ricky Crooks of Waverly and Kelly Crooks of Waverly; and her siblings, Bill Owen (Geri) of Ottawa, KS, Donnie Owen (Wanda) of Leavenworth, KS and Thelma Russell (Jack) of Galena, MO. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Home (801 Garrettson St, Burlington, KS 66839). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions should be made payable to Jones Funeral Home to assist the family with expenses and may be sent in care of Jones Funeral Home, PO Box 277, Burlington, KS 66839.
