Mary Efinger Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on May 4, 2026, at the age of 85, Mary Efinger of Waverly, Kansas, born in Kansas City, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jules P. DeWilde and Marie Angela DeWilde (Naert); her husband Fred; her daughter Kathryn P. Hatten; her siblings, Jules E. DeWilde, Jeannette Solomon, Beverly Bracy and Kathy DeWilde; and her siblings-in-law, Geraldine DeWilde Sears and Gerald Kennedy MD.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Thaler (Susan) of Davis, SD and Beverly Russell (Larry) of Georgetown, TX.; her significant other Roy Hughes; her grandchildren, Jared, Andrea Maxwell, Elizabeth, Lou, Colin Russell and Dameion Hatten; her son-in-law Eric Hatten; her sister Angela Kennedy; and her brother-in-law Keith Solomon. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, many other relatives and friends.
