He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Curtis and Elizabeth Curtis; his wife Della Ann Curtis; and his children, LeeAnn Childers and John Arthur Curtis.
He is survived by: his sons, Garth Jarrell of Weir, KS and James Curtis (Liz) of Baxter Springs, KS; and his siblings, Bill Curtis of Louisiana and Marlene Bennett of Lee's Summit, MO. He is also survived by three grandsons, one granddaughter, and several great-grandchildren.
