He was predeceased by : his parents, Perry Rhodes Sr. and Drucelia Rhodes; and his grandsons, Oliver and Gunnar Rhodes. He is survived by : his children, Nichole Black, Allen Rhodes (Bridget) and Alisha Rhodes; his grandchildren, Nah'leyah Burnett, Michael White, Alayana Rhodes, Allen Rhodes Jr., Amarah Rhodes, Hunter Rhodes and Xavier Rhodes; and his siblings, Delia Morris and Tony Rhodes.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Shelley Family Funeral Home to defray funeral expenses.
