It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joe E. Williams of Wellington, Kansas, born in Pawnee, Oklahoma, who passed away on April 9, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Ernest Sr. Williams and Cozetta Williams (Alexander); his son James Williams of Wellington, Kansas; his granddaughter Harley Williams; and his siblings, George Alexander Jr., Ernest Williams Jr., Bobby Williams, Larry Williams, Jessie Alexander, Sylvester Alexander, Frieda Williams-Jones, Mary Alexander, Francis Alexander and Joyce Alexander.

He is survived by : his wife Donna Williams; his son Paul Williams of Wellington, Kansas; his grandchildren, Stone Williams, Trey Williams, Trevyn Williams, Madison Leggett, Karizma and Addy Jo; his great grandchildren, Bentley, Hayze, Cylis, Kaizer and Skylynn; his sisters, Jean Dooley of Ingelwood, California, Gloria Smith of Fontana, California, Melinda Dennis of Los Angeles, California and Carolyn Alexander of Daytona, Ohio; and his sisters-in-law, Shirley Williams of Richmond, Laura Williams of Rancho Cucumunga, Camilla Williams of Oakland and Debbie Alexander of Wellington, Kansas. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, and many very dear friends.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah's Witnesses (1200 N Cherry St, Wellington, KS 67152).

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly ask for donations to be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
