He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin "Buck" Fritsch and Vivian Fritsch (Passwater); his siblings, Bill Fritsch and Mary Lou Stevenson; his wife Patricia Fritsch; and his son Doug Fritsch.
He is survived by: his children, Melissa Charbonnel (Thierry) of France, Justin Fritsch (Tracy) of Girard, KS and Jarrod Fritsch (Alyson) of Richmond, VA; his granddaughter Miranda Lainé (Loïc) of France; his children, Thomas-Gabriel Charbonnel of Lafayette, LA, Melitta Charbonnel of France and Augustus Fritsch of Richmond, VA; his great grandchild Alyssa Lainé of France; his grandchild Anaëlle Lainé of France; and his nieces and nephews, Terry Fritsch (Janice) of Rockwell, TX, Scott Carr of Joplin, MO, Michael Erskine (Judy) of Deltaville, VA, Fay Nelson (Robert) of Joplin, MO and Dawn Erskine (Georgio Ferris) of Waterview, VA..
