Young (Thorton); her husband Rodger Tyrrell of Wellington, Kansas; her daughters, Marsha McRoberts (Eddy) of Osawatomie, Kansas and Judy Stringer (Tony) of Wellington, Kansas; her grandchildren, Amy Colin (John) of Birmingham, Alabama, Vince McRoberts of Osawatomie, Kansas, Jacob McRoberts (Aslana) of Midwest City, Oklahoma, Amanda Abraham (Jeremy) of Wellington, Kansas, Josh Stringer (Michelle) of Wellington, Kansas and Rachel Stringer of Wellington; and her great grandchildren, Alan Stringer, Saylor and Grace Conlin.

A memorial has been established in her loving memory to the First Baptist Church in Wellington, Kansas.
