He is survived by: his wife Debbie Coons of Eudora; his daughters, Bernie Smith (Brandon) of Wellsville and Christy Bell (Jason) of Wellsville; his grandchildren, Bryce Smith of Wellsville, Trajen Smith of Sterling, KS, Ian Smith of Salina, KS, Carson Bell, Gracie Bell of Wellsville and Krystle Ivey of West Monroe, LA; and his siblings, Claudia Bivins (Terry) of Lebo, Linda Fritzshall (Randy) of Overland Park, KS, Kevin Coons (Terri) of Wellsville and Curt Coons (Cheryl) of Overland Park, KS. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
