With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Earl Thompson Sr. of Wellsville, Kansas, who passed away on September 21, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Thompson and Margaret Thompson (Dunn); his brother Tommy Thompson; and his daughter Renee McMillan. He is survived by: his wife Linda Jane; his children, Stan Thompson (Patty) and Kathy Wilmoth (Mark); his siblings, Pat Staley, Aletha McDaniel (Larry) of Lee's Summit and Rick Thompson; and his former wife Linda Mae. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Bruce Funeral Home (106 S Center St, Gardner, KS 66030).
