It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evan Joel Phillips of Wellsville, Kansas, who passed away on March 5, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Floyd H. Phillips and Mary E. Phillips (Yerkes); and his brothers, Warren D. and W. Leon Phillips. He is survived by : his former life partner Loeta R. Childs; his wife Shirley Elizabeth Moyer (Clayton) of Wellsville; and his children, Joelene Dwyer (Denny), Mike Phillips (Brenda), Jeri Green (Virgil), Greg Phillips (Candy), Jan Green (Leland) and Rick Phillips. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
