He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Raymond Fleming and Clara Fleming (Doran); his wife Eloise Fleming (Fry) of Wilmore, Kansas.; and his siblings, Patricia Whelpley, Raymond Fleming, Jim Fleming and James Fleming.
He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Fleming, Debra Garbe (David), Sally Luman (Mike), Sharon Caruthers and Mike Fleming (Kathy); and his grandchildren, Brian Garbe, Kimberlea Wadsworth, Michael, Scott Luman, Megan Seaton, Jaclyn Bauer, Kory Espinoza, Kelly Dubala and Matt Fleming. He is also survived by his family, friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made in Floyd's memory to Shriners Children's Hospitals or to KU Hospice, whose missions of compassionate care and service reflect the values that Floyd embraced throughout his life.
