Hunter Douglas Thuro Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on August 8, 2025, at the age of 29, Hunter Douglas Thuro (Wellsville, Kansas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Dwight Thuro Sr., Nancy Thuro, Douglas Ebneter and Margaret Ebneter; and his aunt Christine Thuro.

He is survived by: his son Lukas Thuro; his parents, Dwight Thuro Jr. (Anne) and Renee Peterson (Craig); his siblings, Hillary Newman, Victoria Thuro and Grayson Thuro; his stepsister Ariel Whitely-Noll (Jacob); his niece Micah Newman; and his nephew Taryn Newman. He is also survived by uncles, aunts, cousins, and dear friends.

Donations in Hunter's memory can be made to Renee Peterson for the benefit of Lukas Wade Thuro.
