He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Bogert and Margaret Bogert (Detrich); his stepfather Joe; and his brother Jerald. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Ruth Looper; his children, Curtis (Brenda), Kimberly and Christina (Rich); and his stepchildren, Ovie, Gloria and Jeris. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Wilson's Funeral Home (607 Main St, Wellsville, KS 66092). The inurnment will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Leavenworth National Cemetery (150 Muncie Rd, Leavenworth, KS 66048).
