He was predeceased by: his parents, John Slaven and Dora Slaven; his son Bruce; his grandson Ben; and his siblings, Ruby Harper, Jones, Winfield Slaven (Win), Lily Penny, Finkenbinder, Frank Slaven, Maurice Slaven, Paul Slaven, Lewis Slaven, Melissa Lopez and Teddy Eugene Slaven.
He is survived by: his former wife Norma Jean Dunn; his wife Marcelle Alma Tang; his son Marcus; his daughter-in-law Elizabeth; his siblings, Isabel Smith and James Grant Slaven; his grandchild Nikki (Andrew); his sons, Travis, Asher and Misti Fisher; his grandsons, Alex and Vincent; his son Sean Slaven; his grandchild Paetyn; his daughter-in-law JoDee; and his siblings' children, Norma and Joshua Tang.
