He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick L. Keehn and Mary Belle Keehn (Holt); his significant other Lavon Jean Schreiber; his son-in-law Jason McMahon; and his siblings, Sue Randal, Peggy Dodson, Edward and Samuel Keehn.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Keehn (Sheila) of Wetmore, Al Keehn (Tery) of Wetmore, Kertis Keehn of Netawaka, Kathryn Mikesell (Bob) of Jamestown and Jennifer McAfee (Caleb) of Wetmore; and his siblings, Donna Lee Keehn-Fields of Havensville, Mary Woltje (Charlie) of Topeka, Frederick "Fritz" Keehn (Rosemary) of Soldier and Richard Keehn of Oklahoma. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Mercer Funeral Home - Holton (1101 W 4th St, Holton, KS 66436). Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. The lying in state will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (401 Cheyenne Dr, Holton, KS 66436). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at the Soldier Cemetery.
