He was predeceased by: his parents, Junius Smith and Viola Elizabeth Smith (Schuetz); his wife Nadine; his son Jerry; his grandson Curtis Smith; and his brothers, Ivan and Larry Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Sheryl Callison (Mark) of Holton, Terry Smith (Gena) of Horton, Garry Smith (Kerri) of Soldier and Perry Smith (Sarah) of Wetmore; and his grandchildren, Mark Callison II (Erin), Matt Callison (Michelle), Gera Cochren, Jordan Smith (Lindsey), Tanner Smith (Jeanette), Justin Smith (Heidi), Travis Smith (Kari), Taylor Smith (Megan), Jayna Glatczak (Michael), Lacy Smith-Baker, Newt Smith (Gracie), Sydney Smith and Isabelle Smith.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the St. Leo's Catholic Church (1320 1st Ave E, Horton, KS 66439). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at the Springhill Cemetery.
