He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Leroy and Ellen Summers Archer; and his wife Barbara Young. He is survived by: his children, Bridget Archer of Whiting and Brett Archer (Travis) of Boise; his grandchildren, Bronson Archer, Gaige Kibbee and Austin Archer; his great grandchildren, Hunter, Bryce, Natalie, Lukas and Hudzen; and his sister Carolyn Shannon of Whiting.

Memorials may be made to the Richard Archer memorial fund to be designated later and may be sent in care of the mortuary.
