He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton L. Lathem and Mabel Black Lathem; and his former wife Trudy Hall Lathem (Douglas). He is survived by: his wife Mary Brock-Lathem; his children, Christopher Lathem (Linda) and Dr. Teresa Burks (Freddie); his stepsons, Patrick Brock (Becky) and Danny Brock (Heidi); his grandchildren, Abigail Pauly (Hook), Dr. Madison Lathem, Reagan Lathem, Andrew Lathem and Niya Burks; and his stepgrandchildren, Will Brock, Jackson Brock, Collins Brock and Austin Brock.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Aldersgate United Methodist Church.
