She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Hurt and Alma Bell Mills; her husband Thurman Ray Block; and her son Joseph Dale Irvin. She is survived by: her children, Terry Johnson and Douglas Irvin, Jr. (Patti); and her grandchildren, Amie Huntley (Rob), Clyta Spain (Curtis), Melissa McClendon (Mike), Wesley Johnson (Diana), April Mann and Janelle Lopez (Efrain). She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Cornerstone Church (5531 E 37th St N, Wichita, KS 67220).
