He was predeceased by: his wife Veronica; his parents, Antone Lauer and Martha Lauer (Hemmen); and his brothers, Walter Lauer and Linus Lauer.
He is survived by: his children, Antoinette "Toni" Heincker (Carl) of Wichita, Lori Linnebur (Kent) of Wichita, Phil Lauer (Cheryl) of Olathe, Jan Lauer (Ann Berry) of Canton, MI and Andy Lauer (Kathy) of Viola; and his sisters, Geraldine Steiner of Wichita, Winifred Albert and Bernetta Girrens of Katy, TX. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 43 (+2 on the way) great-grandchildren.
