Andres Abasolo Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Andres Abasolo of Wichita, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 13, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesus Jay Abasolo and Mary Ruth "Ruthy" Abasolo; and his siblings, Greg Abasolo, Jay Abasolo, Carmen Harshfield and Jana Abasolo.
He is survived by: his wife Sheila; his sons, Steven Abasolo (Lexi) and Ryan Oliphant (Meagan); his grandchildren, Steddler, Steeli, Beckett, Kanon and Reagan; and his sisters, Cecelia Newman, Eloisa Bennett (Wes), Amelia Austin (John), Connie Sayler and Cathy Richardson (Kurt). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Downing & Lahey West Mortuary (10515 W Maple St, Wichita, KS 67209). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
A memorial has been established with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, Hospice Center, 313 South Market, Wichita, Kansas 67202. The family greatly appreciates donations made to these charities in Andres "Andy" Abasolo 's name.
