She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvie Bates and Dolores Bates; her husband Merl Richard Watkins; her siblings, John Bates, Robert Bates, Jerry Bates and Linda McGinty; and her stepdaughter Jennie Watkins.
She is survived by: her children, Brian Botts (Karrie) of Niceville, Bradley Botts (Karen) of Venice, Florida and Brenda Tatman (Jim) of Wichita, Kansas; her stepsons, Merl Ronn Watkins of Wichita and Jerry Watkins (Pam) of Valley Center, Kansas; her brother Bill Bates (Ginny) of Wichita, Kansas; and her brother-in-law Don McGinty of Wichita, Kansas. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
