Barbara Soth Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Soth of Wichita, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 26, 2026 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer D. Balzer and Gladys Unger Balzer; her husband James L. Soth; her son Timothy; and her sister-in-law Jacqueline Balzer.
She is survived by: her son Terrance L. Soth (Patricia) of Wichita; her grandchildren, Brycen Soth of Newton, Courtney Feikert (Larkin) of Haysville, Olivia Allen of Memphis and Lauren Allen of Wichita; her brother Francis Balzer; and her sibling's children, Jason Balzer (Stacy), David Balzer (Amanda) and Stefanie Roth (Steve).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 10th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Broadway Colonial Funeral Home (120 E Broadway St, Newton, KS 67114). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Bethel College Mennonite Church (2600 College Ave, North Newton, KS 67117). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 11:45 AM to 12:45 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery (1100 E 1st St, Newton, KS 67114).
