She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Vance and Bessie Vance; her husband Robert "Bob" Paul Spriggs; and her sisters, Marjorie Snell, Cara Lee Howard and JoAnn Leisure.
She is survived by: her daughter Lori Nelson; her stepchildren, Mary Hill (Paul) and Paul Spriggs (Dallas); her grandchildren, Nicholas Nelson (Emma), Reagan Nelson and Corey Spriggs (Ali); and her great grandchildren, Genevieve Nelson, Alex Spriggs and Olivia Spriggs. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
