Beverly J. Mies Obituary
We announce the death of Beverly J. Mies of Wichita, Kansas, who passed away on September 28, 2026, at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Kermet Shinn and Nellie Hussey Shinn; her husband Wilfred Peter Mies; and her siblings, Truman Shinn and Dalice Cline.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Gardner (Steve) and Lee Ann Sack; her grandchildren, Sarah Zink (Ryan), David Gardner (Dana), Corinne Novacek, Richard Sack, Daniel Sack (Kayde) and William Sack; and her great grandchildren, Sydney, Ainsley Zink, Pierce, Layla, Lawson Novacek and Sienna Sack. She is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ebersole Mortuary Chapel (219 Spring Ave, Conway Springs, KS 67031). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Conway Springs Cemetery.
