He was predeceased by: his stepfather Wally Tolstad; his father Joe Chappell; and his parents-in-law, Bob, Anne Baldwin, Toby, Miss Kitty, Mae, Bess, Sallie, Princess and Gus.
He is survived by: his wife Lynne; his daughter Morgan; his mother Darlene Tolstad; his siblings, Dennis Chappell (Grace), Carol and Cheryl Tolstad; and his sisters-in-law, Sue Baldwin and Jan Stockton (Mark).
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (330 N Broadway St, Wichita, KS 67202).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to the First United Methodist Church of Valley Center & Girl Scouts of Kansas Heartland.
