He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Bessey of Wichita and Floydeane Bessey of Wichita. He is survived by: his wife Vicki Bessey; his sons, Jason Bessey (Lauren) of Leawood and Blake Bessey (Dan Gutmann) of Urbandale; his grandchildren, Xander, Gavin, Austin and Kylie; and his brothers, Bruce Bessey (Mary) of Derby, Brent Bessey of Georgia and Drew Bessey (Susan) of Wichita.
