He was predeceased by: his fathers, John Leo Resko and Tecla "Tillie" Barbara Kier Resko; his wife Billie Elaine Williams; and his sisters, Catherine Wroda and Mary Leonard.

He is survived by: his brother-in-law Sonny Leonard; his children, Gig Resko (Teresa), John Resko (Diana), Donica Murphy (Chris) and Leah Aylward (Brian); his grandchildren, Amanda Hoover, Michaela Resko, Devin Resko, Troy Resko (Alyssa), Logan Murphy (Michaela), Grant Murphy, Samantha Day, Cheston Resko, Bethany Aylward, Aidan Aylward, Sasha Aylward, Dalton Holmes, Garrett Holmes and Sarah Lohrengel (Carter); his great grandchildren, Caiden Whisler, Kaylin Whisler, Hazel Day, William Day, Whitley Day, Lyla Resko, Brenin Hoover, Brantlee Hoover, Brayton Hoover and Baby Lohrengel; his pets, Styx and Maggie; and his children, Amanda Hoover, Michaela Resko, Devin Resko, Troy Resko (Alyssa), Logan Murphy (Michaela), Grant Murphy, Samantha Day, Cheston Resko, Bethany Aylward, Aidan Aylward, Sasha Aylward, Dalton Holmes, Garrett Holmes and Sarah Lohrengel (Carter). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
