He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald E. Shank and Vera Darling Larson; his stepfather Olaus W. Larson; and his stepdaughter Maria A. Anderson. He is survived by: his wife Anna R. Anderson of Wichita; his son George W. Anderson of Oakland, CA; his grandson Heston Moore; his brother Michael H. Shank; his niece Michelle M. Shank; and his sisters-in-law, Georgia Clements, Lucy Collins, Margaret Ansari, Mary Esparza and Chris. He is also survived by the brother they never had and their children.
