He was predeceased by: his parents, D. L. Zimmerman and Bernice M. Zimmerman (Skogman); his daughter Tonie Maria; and his brother Roy Zimmerman. He is survived by: his former wife Jeanette Whitcomb; his sister Jan Maria Gill (Zimmerman) of Springfield, MO; his children, Charles Zimmerman, Jr. and Tracie Kay; his nephew Mike McEvoy (Sally) of Topeka, KS; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Anneleise of Dallas, TX and Izzy of Palm Beach, FL.. He is also survived by six grandchildren, and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
