He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Coley (Baird); his children, Randy Ervin (Donna) of Rose Hill, Kansas and Pamela Hart (Michael) of Plano, Texas; his grandson Shawn Thornburg; and his great grandchild Zoe. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
A memorial has been established to York University, York, Nebraska.
